#to have sex is rape and yes that includes prostitution

You have no idea how FREEING it is to be a stereotypical bitchy feminist.
Yes I think women are underpaid for the same positions men get. Yes I think all menstrual products should be free. Women should be allowed to be topless in public. Yes I think sex work should be legalized and that prostitutes and strippers should unionize. Yes I think maternity leave should be paid.
Yes I think incels are not owed kindness from the women they want to rape and murder. Andrew Tate should be beaten to death with a stick. Yes I think trans women are owed more respect than "girldick hot"
Men should be able to do basic house chores without a woman present. Fathers should have active roles in childcare. Women, including trans women, are not required to shave, wear makeup, or anything else to appease men or anyone else who thinks they are only worthy of human respect when they're attractive.
#this is all the most basic shit but it's the kind of thing that gets you called a crazy feminazi bitch#feminism#misogyny#swerfs dni#terfs dni#transmisogyny

So I'm thinking about the symbolism associated with Mia Dearden's hair so here's me talking about it:
(Tw for the typical things associated with Mia, rape, child prostitution, drugs)
Okay. So the first time we see Mia, her hair is down.
And she's a child prostitute. Very unhappy, lots of trauma, ect ect.
And the first time we see her with a ponytail
She puts her hair up before standing up to her piece of shit pimp boyfriend.
The next time we see her hair down is when she's pissed at Ollie.
What's she mad at him for? Cheating on Dinah.
And after they hug it out Mia's hair is back in a ponytail.
Something I feel is important to point out is that even after she kills a guy, her hair is still in a ponytail.
But shortly after her hair is down again. Why?
Because she was diagnosed with HIV. Either from her prostitution or her doing meth.
And after she accepts her diagnosis, her hair is up again.
I will mention that the next time we sorta see her hair down is after she is blown up by Light/Merlyn and her hair is buzzed short. Once its long enough for her to tie it up, she does so. But all her hair being cut off could symbolize a couple things.
1: Rape. Her hair was forcibly taken from her via an explosion caused in part by Dr. Light, a rapist who rapes for power and to take things from people and to hurt. And Mia growing her hair out after that trauma could represent her healing.
2: Renewal. GA v3 can be split into 2 parts imo, pre Light explosion, and post Light explosion. Mia's hair being short symbolizes how far she has come since her introduction, how she has changed, ect ect.
I think its a little bit of both tbh.
After that, we se her hair down one more time.
After Red Hood brings up her past. Of prostitution and drugs. it clearly effects her, at least a little.
And after, her hair is in a ponytail again.
Mia's hair is deeply, deeply symbolic to her. It represents her past. It hold memories, a concept seen in many, many cultures. When something traumatic happens to her regarding sex, her hair is down. (Yes, that does include Ollie cheating on Dinah. It may not be as traumatic as the other things, but having a parent cheat on the other does cause a small amount of trauma. it is a Bad Sex Thing, and Mia's hair goes down when Bad Sex Things happen.)
Now, this does tend to be a GA v3 specific thing. But i think it maybe can be applied to other comics, if the writers are aware (and if you really like out there comic theories.)
Like at the DinahOllie wedding. Could her hair be half up half down because ponytails are informal? Probably. But maybe it could also symbolize something good, like half up means its a good marriage. Or maybe it symbolizes something bad, like the fact that it was an imposter Ollie.
Or Mia's new hair.
Her undercut. Maybe it means nothing but looking cool and helping differentiate her from Cissie (and Connor with his long hair lmao). Maybe it means she's a lesbian. Maybe it symbolizes something taken from her, what with her being missing from existence for a bit. The time she never got to live or something.
ANyways thats my long post about Mia's hair because she makes me feral oh my god the symbolism Mia Dearden I love you.

Okay, this might be controversial, but …
We all know and see how feminism — mainstream feminism — began to more and more include and revolve around men, although feminism is supposed to be specifically for women‘s rights.
I could say a lot about how mainstream "feminism" has become just another men‘s rights movement in disguise, BUT that‘s not the point of this post.
What came to my mind long ago is that every other social justice movement centers men, too. Now I‘m not saying that men can‘t be oppressed based on ethnicity, sexuality, class, nationality, disability etc., and they certainly are part of movements about these issues. (not comparable to FEMinism, of course, since men are NOT oppressed on the basis of their sex — even intersectional feminism is only for WOMEN as they face unique oppression for being female, and oppressive systems are the result of male supremacy)
However, the more I observe what‘s going on, the more I notice that men are the center of these movements although it affects women just as much, and even more because misogyny and racism, homophobia etc. intertwine.
So, we got an LGBTQIAwhatever+ movement which is more concerned with male sexuality and male feelings than women‘s voices and safety. Not only in terms of the gender debate and the fact that women get dehumanized (e.g. "menstruators", "birthing people", "bonus hole") and that their sex-based reality gets erased, but also when it comes to how LGBTQIAwhatever+ rights are framed. For example, "kink" has been heavily pushed forward by and centered around the men, even during the beginning of the movement, although lesbian and bisexual women have always been critical of it, yet it‘s now the public image we get associated with as well. Women are hoping for solidarity with the men, but the men somehow still don‘t bother to work on their misogyny. It‘s inarguable that while the women and men share the oppression through homophobia — and don’t get me wrong, I think that all LGB people should fight against homophobia together — the women are still oppressed by the men due to misogyny.
We also have a Black Lives Matter movement, which has thankfully raised a lot of awareness since it started and is an integral part of social justice. However, the phenomenon remains the same: Men are centered, whereas the women have to mostly fend for themselves. I‘m not comparing case X to case Z or something like that, but the outrage when a black woman gets violated and faces misogynoir is very little compared to cases of while man on black man violence. I‘m not saying "pay less attention to victims who are black men!", I‘m saying "pay more attention to victims who are black women!" (same goes for racism and hate crimes against other ethnicities). And I‘m not glossing over the fact that there are MANY amazing black women who raise their voices and do meaningful activism, I‘m just saying that they don’t receive the same platform as their male counterparts, face misogyny (including heavy sexualization) from both black and white men and often feel the need to give up some space for the men, as apparently women can‘t talk about the female experience exclusively in the society we live in without getting scrutinized.
Then we got the Disability Rights Movement, which is somehow less popular but still as important. While most of the rights and affirmations are for both men and women alike, the men are still seen as a priority, both compared to other disabled women and in some cases also non-disabled women. Many disabled women have spoken about how disabled men still sexualize them and subject them to their misogyny, and we even got to the point where disabled men are supposed to be given access to rape prostitutes (yes, prostitution is paid rape even when you‘re disabled) whilst disabled women barely have the right to same-sex intimate care and are also more likely to get medically mistreated.
I could go on about how poor/homeless women are belittled and forced into prostitution and therefore overlooked compared to poor/homeless men (the notion that there are more poor/homeless men than women and hence men have it worse is false as the poor/homeless women end up as sex trafficking victims, especially during war times, or at least get coerced into enduring paid rape), how the "body positivity" movement has become another men‘s sexual fantasy, how discussions about religious indoctrination and extremism usually revolve around the boys and men who get dragged into becoming violent fanatics whilst the girls and women are expected to have empathy for their abusers, how men assert their male privilege shamelessly and regardless of all these aspects above …
But in the end, what becomes clear, is that men enthusiastically use the tools of patriarchy even when fighting against other forms of social injustice, and we as women deserve so much better than this — and this is also why we need to unite ourselves and prioritize one another.

This is a vent post probably no one's going to care about and i haven't slept all night (it's 4 am now) so there's prolly typos. but like.... I like Angel Dust and I Like Poison from Hazbin Hotel, but SO MANY COMMENTS on YouTube refer to the general idea of prostitution (or even "sleeping around" without pay!!! Like just being dtf!!!) as self-harm and it's pissing me off.
There's nothing wrong with having lots of sex, yes even with people you don't know very well or people who are paying you- when you CONSENT.
Angel Dust is being ABUSED by a guy who literally owns him, and on top of that has no way to screen or refuse clients. This isn't "just sex work"- nothing about this is inherent to the premise of him having sex or shooting porn for money- it's abuse WITHIN his line of work, it's RAPE because he can't say no and can't call the shots and can't even refuse to see a client again. Angel Dust has no autonomy in this situation- after he signed he was kept like a pet.
Sex work isn't bad inherently, it's bad when you as a worker have no legal rights or protections to help you stay safe (which sex workers in many parts of the world don't since sex work being criminalized prevents them from doing things like persecuting someone who crossed boundaries, or even just being able to have legal "protections" outside of just getting arrested for their field of work even if it's what they want to do. And of course they get killed and abused by cops too because they're criminals and cops are SHIT), when you're working under a pimp like angel works under Valentino, or when you are forced into it due to poverty or other circumstances and don't want to be there.
As for sleeping around being self harm...first of all, cut off the goddamn slut shaming. Second of all, yes maybe some people lie about wanting sex (NOT in CNC, that's just actual consent with noncon roleplay) as a way of self harming. But nothing about liking to fuck is self harm in itself. Those specific people might need help but not every neighborhood whore needs a redemption arc- maybe they actually love themselves and just like to fuck??!!!!!
At this rate a part of me hopes that after Angel fucking murders Valentino or otherwise gets freed, he still does sex work in some capacity but in a healthy way where he's happy and able to negotiate for what he's willing to do and when- just so people will stop acting like "sex work is always bad and all sex workers want to be freed" is the only takeaway here. If he doesn't I'm not going to be mad or anything of course, and if that's not the vision for his character then that's not the vision. But it'd certainly help make comment threads less....victim blamey and awful.
There's a good philosophy tube video on Sex Work as well, with interviews included- and there's probably sex workers here on Tumblr you can talk to. But just please stop acting like being a prostitute is self harm inherently.
If I see one more post like "I love Angel Dust because people don't talk about how being slutty is just self destructive" or "Poison is such a good rep of why sex work is so disgusting and shouldnt be allowed" I'M GOING TO FUCKING BREAK SOMETHING.
If you want to protect sex workers, listen to them and help them campaign for legalization (because again they need it for safety and to ensure they can protect themselves from clients) and other things they might need. But for the love of GOD don't act like it's some inherent evil that's always abusive because, ironically, that's the shit that makes it so easy for abuse to happen in that field in the first fucking place.

did Madeline fuck a german soldier out of coldblooded pragmatism so, she wouldn't starve to death like her chic neighbour down the block? yes.
did she also have some sort of soft, amused but contemptuous affection for him? seemingly so.
does that part make us uncomfortable? apparently so. and fair enough if so.
does she feel guilt over it? no.
is she a nazi sympathiser? feelings about her particular soldier aside, no. no evidence of that.
is she a nazi? no.
were some of the thousands of women who did this not only doing to this to survive but because they *did* sympathise with the nazis? yep.
was it mostly a matter of survival though? yes.
were women often raped by soldiers and then 'paid' in food and supplies, and then did they recategorise the event to themselves as 'actually i prostituted myself to save myself and my family' as a survival method? also yes.
did the women in invaded countries who had sex with german soldiers, for whatever reasons, including the women who were raped/coerced, face vigilante justice, ritual humiliation, and retaliative rape as a result? also yes.
was a hefty part of this retaliation less about punishing collaboration or 'collaboration' with a genocidal regime and more about national pride, personal vengeance and slutshaming? yep.
everyone likes to think they'd take the moral high ground in these situations. everyone romanticises the french resistance.
madeline did not and does not. she clearly has a coldblooded and amoral streak, which she recognises, hence her words to armand about her own monstrousness. she is complicated. she lived through a fucked up situation. she is above all a survivor. that is what makes her suited to vampirism, and part of what she and claudia recognise in each other.

hi, in a post you recently said 'if you're ever questioning if something you're experiencing in a relationship is healthy, please don't hesitate to reach out to me and ask', so i was wondering if this was okay? if not, please ignore and sorry for the convenience. i hope this isn't triggering but it includes bdsm and rape fantasies.
i'm very lucky to be in a relationship with a man who made it clear for day 1 that he wasn't going to hurt me during sex, pretend to force me, or engage with any of that. i used to be big time into bdsm but over the last 10yrs i've been doing more feminist reading and having conversations with others and tried to unpack all of that, which has left me wanting to distance myself from it. i stopped justifying and defending bdsm, stopped engaging with bdsm-content in fiction and stopped watching porn all together. i got more involved with anti-prostitution and porn advocacy too.
the problem is that i'm still engaging with it internally. it's like a switch flips in my head when i'm with my partner and i construct this world where i'm being forced but can't show it. i used to think it was because of prior trauma and i was trying to get a sense of control, but it just feels like i'm using that as an excuse. it's a big thing in the bdsm community to justify it by claiming you're 'working through your trauma' but i was supposed to be past that now. it's been years so i feel like i don't have a good reason to be still doing this.
do you have any advice? once again, thank you.
I'm glad you asked! it wasn't exactly what I was talking about in the post - more internal rather than interpersonal - but I actually can relate in a sense. my wife tells me that sometimes when I get super stoned (which I rarely do tbf), I talk about wanting some fucked up things. I definitely THINK about some fucked up things. I'm quite far out from any posttraumatic mental effects, so I also don't feel that that explains it, and I'm fairly sure I had some questionable fantasies prior to my traumas, too. i wouldn't call it kink, though, bc they're not inherently tied to sex nor arousing to me on their own. I think I like violence and adrenaline and always have, and I don't really care which direction the violence goes, I just find it fun. but that's not a "need," as men would have you believe. it's just a quirk of my personality, and while I choose not to engage with it outwardly (I don't start unnecessary fights but I don't shy away either), I also refuse to make myself ashamed by it. there is no such thing as a thought crime. your stances against prostitution, porn, and, yes, bdsm as well, are not compromised or hypocritical because you have those thoughts. let them be, observe them, and release them as feels right to you. i think the idea that we must analyze such things to death is rather Christian in nature and likely in origin: the idea that our thoughts and desires can be sinful themselves, or that they speak to who we "really" are. I think that's a load of shit. I don't believe anyone who would claim to have never thought (or even desired!) some really unhinged shit. humans are weird! I'm glad I have someone I can tell all my unhinged thoughts to without judgment, but none of it means I'd ever act on such things.
tldr, we all have some out of pocket thoughts (beyond just intrusive thoughts, to be clear!) and I don't believe there's anything wrong with that on its own, nor are we obligated to explain them
I don't expect everyone to agree with this, but it is where I stand on the matter

I assumed that you would note the existence of prostitution before capitalism, that's why I put 'especially under capitalism' in parentheses. I'm specifically referring to how capitalism has made the sexual exploitation of women worse. Is it not reasonable then to form a feminist movement against this? I'm not a "sex-positive" feminist (however you interpret that term) so the rest doesn't apply to me.
I think it's pretty clear and simple to see that men are the main perpetrators of domestic violence and rape. Every statistic I have ever seen and all personal experience says otherwise. I have seen generations of women (including in my own family) being abused by their male partners. I have NEVER seen it the other way around. It's part of entire cultures, it's been documented in history for ages. I really don't get where you're getting this from.
Also hard disagree with your point about empathy. I have no incentive to believe otherwise. You're just as much relying on anecdotal evidence as I am, but I think most people would agree (and I believe there are studies about this too), that women are far more empathetic than men.
I feel like you're making a lot of short-sighted leaps in logic here. I would have liked to be taught better, but so far it just sounds like a lot of "actually it's the other way around" without evidence to me.
Also curious about your thoughts on the rampant pedophilia among men.
"Curious about your thoughts on the rampant pedophilia among men."
There is no rampant pedophilia amongst men. Attraction to pepubescent children is, thankfully, a strange and rare aberration. And again, you're ignoring and/or excusing one half of the people engaging in that problem, because of their sex, and that is entirely because of your feminist indoctrination.
"I think most people would agree (and I believe there are studies about this too), that women are far more empathetic than men."
Yes, but not to men, especially not men they don't know. I was asking you to listen in your daily life to how women talk about "men" as a group and how men talk about "women". It's a very simple test, but it relies upon you engaging honestly with it and putting aside your biases. If you do that, you will find that everywhere you go, you'll hear women in every part of life talking with disdain and contempt for every man who's not their immediate friend, present lover or blood relative. Whereas you are much more likely to hear men talk about the need to defend and protect all women. Men as a demographic will vote for things that disadvantage themselves if it helps women as a class, whereas it's impossible to get women as a demographic to vote for anything that would disadvantage themselves but help a bunch of men they don't know. And that's just nature: women evolved to be more selfish in that way. But it IS reality, and yet it runs contrary to everything you've been indoctrinated into believing throughout your life.
"I think it's pretty clear and simple to see that men are the main perpetrators of domestic violence and rape. Every statistic I have ever seen and all personal experience says otherwise."
You're wrong:
"I'm not a "sex-positive" feminist"
I can tell.
"I'm specifically referring to how capitalism has made the sexual exploitation of women worse."
Well, as I started out saying, you're beginning with an ideological assumption that there is such a thing as Capitalism - and also "patriarchy", presumably. But both of those concepts originate only with Marxist and Feminist beliefs. And, like the great majority of people, I'm neither, so I could only really respond to how technology has changed how women have packaged and commodified parts of themselves to make money. I mean, certainly, there are thousands upon thousands of women in the world today prepared to do anything sexually to acquire more money, but then there were thousands of women prepared to do the same back in Ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, so I don't really see what's changed, other than perhaps a decline in the belief in the human soul being an aspect of the divine. If you're asking whether I think people should commodify themselves for money, and put money above everything else in life, then no, I very firmly do not.
"Is it not reasonable then to form a feminist movement against this?"
No, it's not reasonable to form a political movement to fight things that don't exist.

Work Description: Hi! I'm ready to write a one-shot Stucky or Stucky threesome (with Darcy Lewis, Peter Parker, or an original female character) fic for you. As a note, I'm recovering from an injury that affects my typing ability, so it would be best to start discussions about the auction fill in early January. I'll work with the winning bidder at multiple points to make sure they get what they want: 1. I'll communicate back and forth with you (Tumblr, email or Discord) and get a list of everything that you'd like to see (and not see) in the fic. Feel free to list as much as you like, in as much detail as you like, and be sure to rank how important which parts are. 2. Within 3 days of Step #1, I'll send over a detailed story outline for your approval. 3. Within 4 days of Step #2, I'll send over the first scene (1000-2000 word sample) of the fic for your approval. 4. Within a maximum of two weeks after your Step #3 approval, you will have your very own, custom, completed fic. It is free for you to keep private, translate, podfic, illustrate, or post as text on any social media site you like, so long as I am credited as the author. Bids over $25 include matching art, and therefore have a longer timeline. You will still have your finished fic within 2 weeks, finished art may take up to 1 month. (I will make any edits and changes to the story that you'd like, but only up until that last step #3 - i.e., once the first few pages are approved, then change requests can still be made, but will not be guaranteed.) Lastly, I genuinely enjoy writing on request, so when you fic is all is said and done, if you'd still like to stay in contact, then I would love to connect through Tumblr, Discord, etc. I'm super excited to make someone's vision come to life!

Summary: Steve takes Billy to see a miracle. And then to his surprise, witnesses another one - just not such as nice.
::::::::::
On the third day the yacht stopped to a small port. Steve knocked on the bathroom door. "Come on, William, we're going to miss the tender soon!" "Okay, okay, I'll be right there!" Billy said, and checked himself in the mirror once more. His hair was on a loose bun, and he was wearing white cotton trousers and a red, short-sleeved shirt with most of the buttons open. When he opened the door, Steve looked at him, surprised. "Oh, hey. You look..." "Like a man?" Billy smirked as he passed Steve. Steve chuckled as he grabbed his coat and opened the cabin door for Billy. "I was going to say nice, but yes, that too."
"Hey, we're getting our own boat!" Billy said, surprised, when there were no other people waiting for a ride to the shore. "Uh, that was actually the plan," Steve said, smiling as he stepped into the boat, and gave his hand to Billy to help him on it. Billy was taken aback and he stopped before he could step onto the boat. "Oh?" "Well, come on. There's something I want you to see." Billy frowned. "Something we can't see in the port?" "We most definitely won't see this in the port. We'll go there later to eat. Now, come on," Steve said. "I know you might like it."
The boat took off and instead the shore it turned towards the open sea. "So, do you have a secret map with a massive X over on a tiny island where we'll find unfathomable treasures?" Billy asked, grinning. "You could say so," Steve smiled. "Seriously, why aren't we going to the shore like everyone else?" "Well, I think Amanda was clear on what she thinks about us, so I thought let's give her some slack." Billy let out a laugh, and rubbed his thigh with his hand. "She doesn’t really deserve that though, I guess." Steve placed his hand on top of Billy's. "Well, maybe I wanted to show you something special, too." Billy looked at Steve's hand on top of his for a while, then back at Steve, who was smiling a small smile. All of a sudden Billy felt shy, and he turned to look to the sea.
Steve kept stroking Billy’s knuckles with his thumb and leaned to Billy’s shoulder. When he said nothing, Billy glanced at him. A smile still tucked at the corner of Steve’s mouth. “What?” Billy asked, amused. “Nothing. It’s just...I’ve missed being with someone like this. Not needing to fill the silence with useless blabber.” “I can blabber if you want,” Billy grinned. Steve laughed. “I’m sure you can,” he said. “But I prefer this. I mean, not silence per se, just the feeling that there’s no need to say something just for the sake of talking.” Billy looked again at Steve’s hand on top his, at Steve’s thumb stroking his knuckles. "It’s easy with you,” he said, and turned his hand around, allowing Steve to lace their fingers together.
After a good while the boat slowed down and finally stopped. "We're here," Steve said enthusiastically. Billy looked around. "What's here? All I can see is water." "Just wait," Steve whispered surreptitiously. The boat had floated with the calm waves long enough to make Billy almost lull to sleep when there was a sudden spurt of water shot up in the air on Billy’s side, close enough for mist to reach the boat. "What the hell?!" Billy exclaimed and turned to look at the direction of it. His eyes widened and his mouth fell open in wonder as he saw a group of whales taking a breath on the glimmering surface. Not just one, but at least three. "They're humpbacks," Steve said, "Look, one of them is a calf, I think. That small one," he continued, pointing a finger at the smaller whale already diving back into the depths. After the massive tail fins dipped under the surface gracefully, the sea was calm for a moment. Billy looked at Steve wide-eyed. "Are they gone for now?" "Let's wait for a moment, they’ll probably come back," Steve said, leaning over his side of the boat to see into the water. "Oh! Hey, the small one, it's here!" Billy gasped when he saw the calf coming up to the surface and swim by the boat on his side, examining it with its gaze. Steve leaned on Billy to see the baby whale slow down, looking back at them and then dive back down. “It’ll come back again in a moment, I’m sure. Though it’s mama might come check on us too if the calf gets too excited about us.” “They’re huge!” Billy said, excited. “The calf was at least 20 feet long!” “And yet so graceful,” Steve replied. “Yeah,” Billy sighed in wonder.
While Steve was as excited of the whales as William, he really had eyes only for William. How William’s face lit up each time the calf swam by the boat. The way the corners of his eyes crinkled when he smiled at the animal. How the tip of his tongue got caught between his teeth with the wide smile. Him leaning out from the boat towards the water, bare inches away from touching the calf, reaching out to have a brief connection with one of nature’s most glorious miracles.
This was something real, something who William really was. Curious about the world, appreciative of its wonders. Not taking it for granted. This was why Steve had wanted to bring him here. Even if they hadn’t seen any whales, they would’ve seen some dolphins that were jumping out of the water further away, also curious of the boat idly floating on the surface, but appreciative enough of the whales and their size to keep a distance.
Steve’s insides were burning. Finally he knew something of William that was true.
They remained watching the whales until the animals had gotten their curiosity filled and dove into the depths for the last time.
William turned to look at Steve with such genuine smile that Steve’s heart ached. “That was amazing,” William gasped. “I was hoping you’d like it.” “How did you know of this? I mean, can you just find them anywhere, just like that?” Steve chuckled. “No. This is a breeding area, so they’re more likely to stick around here. Actually seeing them is not always guaranteed, though.” He pointed at the dolphins that were now swimming slowly closer. “We would’ve probably seen dolphins though.” “Right, we would’ve seen just wild dolphins,” William said with a lilt. “You care about animals,” Steve said. “Of course I care about animals. Who doesn’t?” “Not everyone,” Steve said, and stroked William’s arm with his fingers. “And not everyone appreciates this kind of trip.” William snorted. “Right.” “No, I’m serious. Amanda didn’t.” William looked at him, stunned. “She didn’t think...” he pointed at the water, “that was incredible?” Steve pursed his lips and shook his head. “What a bitch.” Steve snorted. “You can say that again.” “What a bitch,” William repeated with a smile, making Steve laugh.
When the boat took off back towards the shore, Billy moved to sit next to Steve. “I love animals,” he said quietly. It was small enough truth to reveal. “I always wanted a dog.” “Did you have one when you were a kid?” Steve asked and placed his arm on the backrest of the couch, brushing Billy’s shoulder with his fingertips. Billy looked down in his hands. “No,” he replied. “But our neighbor had one. A pitbull mix. The kindest dog I’ve ever met.” A smile crept on his face. “Her name was Candy. She gave the sloppiest kisses, licking your face as soon as you got close enough,” he said with a laugh. “Maybe you can have one later,” Steve said. Billy looked up at Steve. “I hope so.”
They spent the rest of the day in the shore, wandering through the narrow alleyways of the town once they had eaten. “Ever been abroad?” Steve asked when they were walking back to the port and to the tender that was waiting for them. “Like this?” “Yes.” “No, not on a yacht. A client...uh, well, I was in Vancouver with someone for a few days. It was a long time ago.” “Was it any nice?” A smile tucked the corner of Billy’s mouth. “Not this nice.” Steve smiled. He reached out to take Billy’s hand in his, lacing their fingers together again. “Good. Despite us having to tolerate Amanda’s attitude, it’s been nice for me too.” “Well, if we give her slack some more she doesn’t have to see us in the dinner table either. Might as well get the dinner brought to the cabin?” Billy said with a wide smile. Steve pursed his lips and placed his hand on Billy’s waist, pulling him tightly against him. “I think that might be a good idea.”
The fish they had for dinner was fresh, straight from the port and the fishermen who’d caught it in the morning. “This was heavenly,” Billy said as he finished his meal and set the cutlery on the side. “I’m so full.” Steve pointed at the side table that had a pot of coffee, mugs and a small cover hiding desert. “We still have to finish that.” “I’m sure I’ve already gained at least a few pounds over the last few days. I have to start keeping an eye on my figure or I won’t fit into the dress I have for the wedding.” Steve bit his lips together. “What’s the color of the dress?” Billy’s face lit up. “Wanna see it?” Steve shook his head. “No. I want it to be a surprise. But I want to know the color.” “Emerald green.” Steve took a sharp breath, but it turned into a wide smile quickly. “It’s perfect.” Billy’s brows knitted together. “Why?” “You’ll see.” Billy pushed his lower lip out in a pout. "Why won't you tell me?" Steve got up and extended his hand to Billy. When Billy took it, Steve pulled him up from the chair and wrapped his free arm on Billy's waist, pulling them tightly together. He kissed Billy's knuckles and slowly swayed them around in a silent rhythm, leaning their foreheads together. "It's a secret," he whispered. "Like the whales?" Billy whispered back. "Kind of." "It was amazing to see them so close. They were so big and yet so calm." "I'm glad you liked it." "I loved it. Thank you for showing them to me." "Anyone who loves whales can't be a bad person." Billy chuckled, but the smile slowly vanished. "I know what you're doing." "What am I doing?" "You're trying to get me to open up." "Is it working?" Billy looked away, and thought for a while how to word what was in his mind. "The world where I come from, it's a cruel one. The real me has to remain behind the curtain when I'm on stage. Nasty things can happen and you just have to separate yourself of it. If you don't, you can't do it. I was... once... a client seemed nice but then it all went south and..."
Billy bit his tongue. He hadn't meant to say anything about that. About what had happened to him. It was in the ancient past, but it kind of slipped out.
Because what Steve was doing was working. He was making him feel safe and cared for. And thanks to that his deepest secret was all of a sudden sitting on the tip of his tongue. He hadn’t told it to anyone, not even to Cassie. He was so ashamed of it, letting it happen to him. It felt like a just punishment of every wrong he’d ever done, for allowing strangers do just about anything to his body, for letting them shred his self-dignity in pieces night after night. It was one mistake in a line of many, but this one almost cost him his life.
And all this time he’d wanted to tell someone, but it had felt so humiliating that he just couldn’t say the words. And yet, he needed to tell someone to get the burden off his chest.
And the thing was that he wanted Steve to know. Because even though he had tried his best to be careful, he had already given in, abandoned his own set of rules on the second day they had seen each other, right there on the plane. Billy didn't know how love was supposed to feel like. Was it the warm swelling in his chest each time Steve looked at him or touched him? Or was it the reason why he wanted to make Steve smile and feel good and not because he got paid but because of Steve... Maybe he then had fallen a little. He might as well jump into the deep end and see if Steve would dive after him.
"I was raped by a client."
Steve’s smile melted away and his eyes widened. Billy expected to see pity or disgust in them, but the dark brown ponds looked at him with concern. "When?" Not even a hint of laughter, no scoffing of a man can't be raped. Just worry and genuine concern. Billy could feel hot tears pooling in his eyes. "A few years ago. He got me drunk, drugged me, and then he wanted to..." Steve hugged Billy tightly and kissed his temple. "It's okay, you don't have to tell me if it's difficult."
Billy didn't want to go to specifics. Because he didn't care to remind himself of any of it. But he wasn't able to close the floodgates now that he'd opened them. "He cuffed me. It would've been fine if we had agreed about it. If I’d been sober," Billy sniffled. "I couldn't fight back and then... He didn’t use just his dick.” Steve's brow furrowed. "You mean...he used something else?" Billy nodded. "I had fourteen stitches. The doctor said I could've bled to death." "I haven't seen any scars on you." Billy grimaced. "The wounds weren't on my skin." Horror set on Steve's face as the words registered. Billy was sure that he'd gone too far and he pulled back from the hug. "I'm sorry. I don't know why I told you that. I shouldn’t have..." "Hey, don't ever be sorry," Steve said and reached to take Billy's hand. "No one should go through anything like...that." He squeezed the hand gently. "But it wasn’t your fault. You didn't deserve it. No matter what you do for living. Some people are just...vile."
Billy had beaten himself over what had happened so many times. Being able to finally tell about it to someone and then being given an absolution from all the guilt, being told that it wasn't his fault made him break down.
Steve hugged William tightly, letting him cry it all out. He could only imagine what kind of horror and pain William had gone through.
They stood in the middle of the cabin until Billy's sobs eased and he let out a deep, relieved breath. "Do you know who it was?" Steve asked. Billy shook his head. "No. All I remember that he had a thick and loose wallet like yours.” Steve was quiet for a long while. "That was why you were hesitant with me at first, right?" he asked. Billy nodded. "You reminded me of him too much." Steve hugged Billy a bit tighter. "I could never do anything like that to you, William. To anyone." "I know," Billy said quietly. "You're not like anyone I've ever known before."

Sweetie, my dear. I'm sorry to break it to you but "sex work" can't be consensual If a woman it's accepting to have sex with a man only for money, that's cohersion. Even If you're somehow priviledged enough to do it "for yourself" without a pimp and you don't get shit from the johns, you're still supporting willingly an indrustry that lives of rape, human traficking, and threating women like less that disponsable condoms. Sowwy It's not Empowwering 🥺
And yes, all men are bad. They commit almost all crimes and atrocities in the world through history towards anyone including themselves. They're a destructive, depraved species. And women regardless of their atraction shouldn't take the risk of engaging with highly potential predators.
You can hate radz all you want. Without them you won't be a SWer by choice even, you'd be getting raped 24/7 by men regardless if you 'like it' or not (because they couldn't care less) and without money to "compensate" even.
And yes, all of this includes underage straight moids like Brett Ghey, he was old enough to abuse women and girls by his own and old enough to buy the ideology that womanhood = femeninity as a costume he can just put on to be a laydee, and make sexual post everywhere that reek Autogynophilia. Thank gaia he got killed before he raped a lesbian child in his class or provoqued the next school shooting :>
i don't even have a response can we just look at how completely unapologetically insane these people look, this literally looks like a shooter manifesto also i'm not a prostitute i'm a stripper??

This video I found in The New Zealand Herald features Georgina Beyers discussing her life story and what she has endured to become the woman she is today.
These are some quotes that I have pulled from the article which are relevant to significant events she has endured in her life.
"In my time, many of us ended up down in the street sex industry scene, on the fringes of society, utterly marginalised. I've been brutalised and exploited, I've been pack raped. I've had to endure that kind of thing and it either kills you or it doesn't. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
"It's less of a reflection on me but a wonderful reflection on them - rural conservative New Zealand. Who would have thought?"
"On the third reading of the Prostitution Reform Act, I got up and said: 'I will assume Mr Speaker that I am the only person in this chamber who has ever worked in the sex industry'. I paused and looked around to see whose hands were going to go flying up and of course there weren't any. In that moment, I guess they gave me tacit approval that I was the expert on this thing in this chamber," recalls Beyer.
This was another article I found that featured the passing of the prostitution bill, which Georgina participated in to influence the change of votes towards the bill after a condemning speech.
In 2003, after Labour politician Tim Barnett sponsored the Prostitution Reform Bill through Parliament, the final vote saw it narrowly pass into law, making New Zealand the first country in the world to decriminalise sex work. This legislation was unique in seeking to uphold the human and employment rights of sex workers, and included provisions designed to protect them from coercion and exploitation.
The Prostitution Reform Act was actively monitored during its first five years of operation by the Prostitution Law Review Committee, an eclectic group that included sex workers and was chaired by a retired Assistant Police Commissioner. The observations and consultations of this committee were important, given the extreme fears voiced by those opposed to the law change that it would result in massive increases in the number of sex workers and cause widespread corruption and immorality. The PLRC’s final 2008 report was reassuring in confirming no such eventualities, instead outlining some of the benefits associated with the Act’s impact in reducing the stigma and vulnerability of those involved in the sex industry:
The Committee concludes that the PRA has had a marked effect in safeguarding the right of sex workers to refuse particular clients and practices, chiefly by empowering sex workers by removing the illegality of their work.
In a short documentary that I found about Rainbow Voices and the reopening of the rainbow room in the parliament (possibly an extension/additional video of the speech I was assigned), It featured Georgina Beyers who discussed a hard moment for her being in Parliament and how her dedication to the LGBTQ+ community has helped to support thousands of people across New Zealand.
GEORGINA BEYER, member of Parliament 1999-2007:
I have often been credited with having been a trailblazer, and I will accept that as being true, because as the first out transsexual to serve in a parliament, I had no mentors. I had to navigate my way myself through the mire of political life, I guess. Yes, I had the support of colleagues and the support of caucus, and that we were serving in Government was a huge advantage. I guess I acquitted myself very well when we had what has now come to be known as the 'Enough is Enough' March, led by the Destiny Church. When the 8,000 arrived at Parliament to protest against civil unions, it was a dark day, I feel.
[ANGRY CROWD SHOUTING AND CHANTING]
I stood on those steps for the two or three hours that they held their rally in front of Parliament, holding the rainbow flag, joined by other members of Parliament: Sue Bradford, Sue Kedgley, Tim Barnett, Chris Carter, various others came out to support me as I stared them down from the steps of Parliament. At one point I just lost it. We had 150 approximately of our supporters who were pro the Civil Union Bill, and they had been surrounded by the 8,000 Destiny Church people. And they were abused, they were jostled, they were shoved, and I could see all of this happening from the steps. At that point, I was so... angry, I suppose. I marched across the forecourt of Parliament yelling out loudly, 'Why do you hate us so much? What is this? What is this that you're teaching your children, this hatred towards us? It's not right!' And words to that effect. I was yelling, which I seemed like a screaming banshee, because they had a sound system the Rolling Stones would have been proud of, so I was trying to shout over that so that they might hear me. That ended up on the news that night, and many of our Rainbow people – around the country – went, 'Hallelujah, our voice is there, to stare down this great adversity we were facing from these people.' One of my proudest moments of my parliamentary life, I have to say. Sorry for getting a bit emotional about it, but it was significant. And of course, civil unions came to pass and then was followed, what, less than ten years later by Louisa Wall's presentation of marriage equality to the country. And considering the venal debate that happened over civil unions throughout the country, marriage equality managed to slip through pretty well-supported from within the parliament – and more importantly, from a majority of New Zealanders. You see, with patience and perseverance, the country by and large will come on board because they can see all we want is equality. We are of no harm to anyone else. We just want to enrich our own lives with equality. And it has been for the better of New Zealand that we have been able to make positive contributions to our country, and to live lives that are far more liberated than when I was young. Well done, New Zealand.
It seemed quite appropriate, given the proud history we have in this country over Rainbow issues, that we should have a Rainbow Room – representation for our community in a solid bricks-and-mortar sense here at Parliament. And here it is!

My stance on transgenderism/transsexuality/TRA (only some points):
So, I'm aware that the trans community and TRAs would label me as a "TERF" regardless of what I say, but I still want to share my views with the radfem community and in general.
There's a common misconception that radical feminists (and radical feminism itself) hate trans people and wish harm upon them.
While there undeniably are some people like this and no movement is flawless, it's simply not true for the sentiment of radical feminism and a large number of radfems, and only villainizes our activism for the greater good. We get to the roots of societal problems.
Personally, I care for people who suffer from dysphoria and try to navigate through a world which is built on misogynistic concepts like "gender" "masculinity" and "femininity".
Dysphoric people shouldn't be bullied, mocked, harassed or assaulted. Trans-identified men who are forced into prostitution DO MATTER.
However, I also equally acknowledge that the trans and gender ideology nowadays is universially harmful. It reinforces "gender" and misogyny, and erases the existence and importance of sex - a biologially innate identity and reality.
We see J.K. Rowling getting harassed and threatened by TRAs in the most misogynistic ways possible, we see Shumirun Nessa AND HER CHILDREN getting harassed and threatened and being put in *actual* danger by TRAs simply because they spoke the truth, and not only that, they remained respectful through and through up until today.
We also frequently see women getting threatened by "transwomen" (of course, I'm not saying actually dysphoric men are inherently evil, that's not the point so don't come at me!) with literal rape and sexual violence. These women get threatened, harassed, assaulted and silenced in the name of "trans rights" and "inclusivity" just because they want to be recognize and considered as the oppressed SEX CLASS that they belong to.
Meanwhile, it is MEN who perpetuate crimes against trans people, but somehow women who point out that your sex matters when it comes to legal identification, women's spaces and science are THE ultimate evil and need to be eradicated.
We also need to keep in mind that the term "trans genocide" is illegitimate and false, but that's another topic I'll cover later on in another post. Still, the number of murdered trans people is low, and only a few of these have actually been associated with hate crimes (again, see later). For crimes against women and girls, it's the other way around, and yet we're expected to remain silent and focus on men who "identify" with womanhood and refuse to accept that they can't *adapt* womanhood.
You're free to express yourself, in a "masculine" or "feminine" way or anything in between (these concepts still need to challenged and destroyed as far as they promote dominance & submission, but other than that, all traits and interests should only be humane, not gendered).
And yet, your sex outweighs your "gender identity". Dysphoria is real and I SEE YOU, and I care about you. And I understand that you might feel attacked and the need to fight me, but none of my words come from a place of hatred.
Women are a sex class. Sex is an undeniable, inescapable biological reality. They deserve to be treated and acknowledged as such, especially since they're globally the most oppressed class. (Yes, this includes trans-identified women.)
Yet, I don't want dysphoric people to get harassed or hurt, in fact, I want to protect them and fight for a better world together. But I don't agree with the new-found ideology behind what we know as "trans".
You can be dysphoric/trans, but it doesn't change your sex, which, again, is what matters. Sex is real, gender is not. Sex shouldn't be associated with anything other than its biological facts, and I understand that the assigned gender identities in our society are harmful. Reinforcing them, however, isn't the solution. The solution is to abolish them.

Sex Rant!
Sex feels amazing and it should be enjoyable. And everyone is entitled to it. But what really pisses me off about sex is the fact that it gets abused. Well, I would like to clear up a few things and share my opinions about it. Legalization. Sex is legal to an extent. The only time that sex would be required illegal if it's performed with anyone under age, in public, prostitution, unwanted (known as rape) or incest (sex with blood related relatives) And I actually do have a some opinions about this that not very many people maybe even God would agree with me on. Porn - Yes! It's fun to watch, but it does get boring after watching it so much. And you're not getting as much benefit from it. According to studies, Porn actually lowers your iq and errupts your life choices. But the reality is this. Majority of the porn you see on the internet are paid actors. And they would have to at least know them a little bit as well before they can just do it on tape for our enjoyment. But what people fail to realize is this. They mistaken porn for every women thinking that they're an easy peice of ass for them to get. And if you think that woman are that easy to get in bed and her pants off, think again. Because the woman who will actually do that are considered either a hooker, a whore, slut, nimph, etc. I am sure there are other slangs and urban slangs for them type of people. And there are the legal sides of it when the goverment has to get involved with our sex lives. THIS IS STRICTLY MY OPINION HERE! They need to stay out of our bedroom and personal lives. What we do with it and others as long as it doesn't effect them is not up to them to control. There has been some bs laws restricting it. Though yes we can agree on them laws but there should be some better resources for it. Such as Prositiution. Prostitution is only legal in the state of Nevada. But selling nudes on platforums such as only fans is also legal as well. This is the only way how I see about legalizing prositution if the laws are put in place for it such as this.. -Anyone including the buyers must be over the legal age of 18 with a valid state ID. - The workers must be background checked and health screened to provent any STD. - Protection will always be required - Deals would have to take place in a locked secured residence such as a hotel, or a home. This is my take on prositution. There are two more subjects I need to cover. Fantasies. When you imagine or dream about it with ppl. It's called a fantasie for a reason and it can be about who ever you may well please. But don't let these get to your head in a bad way. Please seek mental help right away. Because no one wants to be known as a sick creepy freak, So KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!! Incest. It is very illegal. But I don't think it should include rape. Now, I do believe myself that it should be ok to a certain extent. There are some pros and cons to this. The pros about incest is that. You know that person will NEVER leave you because having sex with someone and even marrying that person that u aren't related to chances are they will and you will never hear from them again. However it is really fucked up. And it's not worth being black listed over. I would NEVER indulge anyone in my family or myself to do it. EVER!! And if you are one of those people who thinks that incest is okay on people who don't like it or think it's okay. YOU are the waste of space that earth doesn't need. But will I judge you for making that decision? Not exactly.. Am I going to judge you for a sex crime? It depends on what it is. Again, THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION SO PLEASE DON'T REPORT OR FLAG ME!! I am a firm believer that love is Equal. And shouldn't have age restrictions after 18 and same with sex. But at the end of the day, It's up to you who you've decided to have sex with and accept the conseqeunces you could face for doing it. They can be good and bad.

I have a bad habit of insulting my dad (shit guy) through what sound like compliments no, not the comedy way.
The other day I was talking to him and my sister and my dad said he would never stop smoking and that his health would be shit for it, resulting in an early death.
I replied with "you should try vaping", which made my sister correct me as that is more dangerous.
They thought I was trying to come up with a healthier alternative.
I meant it as an insult.
He once (the day before the other story) said that he'd die young from not exercising and that he was already feeling the effects.
"I have more six years to me." He said.
"Do you?" I sound worried.
"More, but six years I can enjoy." Explanation.
"... do you?" Doubtful tone.
OH MY GOD this is like a narrative coming full circle, when I was a kid I'd beg for him to stop, hide his boxes, ask for nicotine stickers to other ppl, but after 21 years of egocentric bs I'm just agreeing when he talks pity on himself
As a matter of fact, talking to my dad is similar to those tense political meetings in media where we both know each other's plans but say things just vague enough not be called out.
Funny thing is that when his "plan" didn't work (reduce child support under the percentage determined by law without breaking contract via having my consent) he went for the THROAT.
Alright this is just a vent now.
But man. It was satisfying.
He talked shit about my mom, she never paid anything blah blah, that stuff.
He was lying! Plus he once refused to pay school materials! He's a prosecutor! He gets 30x the minimum wage! Always did, always will!
He complains about his debts (that he wants to leave for moá) when he spend his father's savings on prostitutes and plastic surgeryfor his wife!
Well, one whore who cost literally my college tuition.
No shade for sex workers, btw, but it's a little strange for his wife to be boasting about how much they spend on their third (who's my age btw!) To refuse to pay child support.
He also talked about how I abandoned them when my grandma died.
I spend her last week there, me and my mother HELPED him with medical decisions, and he didn't tell me about her death so I couldn't make it to the funeral.
My sister found out via her manicures ig.
Oh, and I'm not allowed inside their home because I didn't let the third come to my graduation. It's how he sees it.
I didn't allow my stepmother come (for reasonsTM) (plus the girl is MY AGE. It would be kinda okay if he didn't have the habit of dating his 20/23 yo subordinates.)
Anyways. I hope he stops going to the clubs I go to. And I hope he and my stepmother rot together because what the fuck is that
I've seen all kinds of violence between them (more than you'd imagine! Yes including sexual! On her part! She also said her friend should be thankful if she ever got raped!) So... you can guess how it affected me growing up.
Anyways. I hope they die.
#vent under the cut lmao#this is so wild i just... Like someone needs to see this ya know?#i need to record it#.#family

1 Kings 18: 16-20. "Vomit."
Will Elijah prove God means business with the King in front of the people or not? He says yes. Elijah has not one pretty word for him and delivers a scathing rebuke on Mount Carmel, "the high orchard garden":
Elijah on Mount Carmel
16 So Obadiah went to meet Ahab and told him, and Ahab went to meet Elijah. 17 When he saw Elijah, he said to him, “Is that you, you troubler of Israel?”
18 “I have not made trouble for Israel,” Elijah replied. “But you and your father’s family have. You have abandoned the Lord’s commands and have followed the Baals.
19 Now summon the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel. And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”
20 So Ahab sent word throughout all Israel and assembled the prophets on Mount Carmel.
21 Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.”
But the people said nothing.
The Assembly of the People includes the totality of the person and all persons. What one person witnesses in truth, all persons witness in truth. The first of these is the efficacy of the law.
Senior officials whether they are one's own faculties or in the White House cannot commit murder, they cannot marry or consort with dreary hobuckets, sleep with prostitutes, have sex with their kids, other people's kids, do copious amounts of drugs, lie, cheat, steal, or behave in a way that is unbecoming to their roles.
When these things surface, they are a sign the law is not working and that is what the people want to believe in before they will believe in anything else. When it fails, the disappointment is deep and lasting.
In the tale of King Ahab, the People of Israel Lacked conviction about his rancid conduct because they lived in fear him and his queen, Jezebel. As a result, the people have so far refused to challenge him.
Are we that afraid of Donald Trump and the Republicans that we refuse to confront them and insist President Biden rid us of them as easily as a windscreen hits a fly? Why won't the law do its job and swat them aside for us?
We know the Republicans, Evangelicals, Mormons, and Pro-Lifers cheated in the Election of 2016. We know Pro-Life is illegal, it was banned by international agreement decades ago.
We know the Mormons attacked the Capitol on January 6, we know they are incestuous, that they have sex with minors and so do almost all Republican lawmakers and Supreme Court Justices. We know our Vice President ,Kamala Harris is a sexual predator and has had sex with minors.
Early on we watched Donald Trump threaten to lynch an African American Woman at a rally. We watched him kill tens of thousands of immigrants in illegal concentration camps, we also saw him and his Administration tear thousands of children out of the arms of their parents and send them into the wilderness of countries they had never seen before.
He is also a sexual predator, has had sex with his daughter and his sons, and trafficks in underage pornography just like every member of his cabinet.
How can the American people be so divided about this man and the issues? Rational adults do not predate upon their own children for sex, there are very strict laws that govern the Age of Consent. There are plenty of teenaged boys with pubes and driver's licenses around that will legally prostitute themselves to important people. Raping little kids and trafficking their pornography is out of the question. But we allow this.
SO before we talk about the past, today, everyone who has a soul and a brain must insist President Biden act up to the limit of the law and exert the required effort- the Republican Party must be banned, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints must be banned, federal and international laws regarding genocide, apartheid and other war crimes and Reproductive Rights must be enforced, Donald Trump and his cabinet must be put in prison.
450 Prophets of Baal= 1889, אחחט, akhet,
ak= the definition of a despotic king of Israel according to the will of the people.
Only in Haggai 1:13 occurs a third noun, מלאכות (mal'akut), which appears to be a plural word used singular (like our word "people"). It means something like messagings.
Also note the similarity between our noun מלאך (mal'ak), meaning messenger, and מלך (melek), meaning king. These two words are not etymologically related, but their similarity seems to have helped to form the definition of a king in Israel.
het=that causes terror
50 Prophets of the Asherah=5111, הקיא, "the vomit." What is the vomit from an Asherah pole? A dirty discharge from an uncircumcised fungus penis. Dirty penis discharges are associated with the Ten Ephahs, or Ten Plagues of Egypt found in Parshiot Vayera and Bo.
Rather than shake my finger at the world about these, let us look instead at all the positive qualities of mankind the Torah says we should be benefitting from in our ruling classes found in Vayera:
Israel: Overcomes temptation.
Hanok= Dedication
Pallu= Discernment
Hezron= Objective
Karmi= Noble
"The Leaders of Israel are expected to be dedicated, have superior discrimination and demonstrate noble character."
15 The sons of Simeon were Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jakin, Zohar and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman. These were the clans of Simeon.
Simeon= Obedient, Lawful
Jemuel= Pure, untainted, ever new
Jamin= “Right Handed”= Just
Ohad= Honest
Jakin= Established= calm, balanced,composed
Zohar= Intelligent, ingenious
"They are law-abiding, just, honest, incorruptible, intelligent ingenious, balanced in all circumstances."
16 These were the names of the sons of Levi according to their records: Gershon, Kohath and Merari. Levi lived 137 years [=2048, באֶפֶסדח, in Ephesdah, "in understanding of the past.]
Levi= Does not argue or cavil, amicable
Gershon= stoic, self-controlled
Kohath= forthrightness
Merari= forbearance, does not complain
"They are steadfast, and self-controlled, forthright and constructive."
17 The sons of Gershon, by clans, were Libni and Shimei.
Libni= the witness, keen observer
Shimei= of good repute
"They avoid the ungodly and associate with men of good reputations."
18 The sons of Kohath [gather, hope] were Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel. Kohath, “Forthright” lived 133 years. [=1491, אדטא, "Data"]
Amram= to bind= speaks the truth
Izhar= one who listens
Hebron= friendly to all
19 The sons of Merari were Mahli and Mushi.
Mahli= humble, forgiving
Mushi= withdraws, is conservative, frugal
These were the clans of Levi according to their records.
"The friendliest foster hope, they show empathy to others, are forgiving and helpful."
20 Amram married his father’s sister Jochebed “Glory of God”, who bore him Aaron and Moses. Amram lived 137 years. [=1456, אדהו, edhu, "witness the wailing truth]
"Truth gives glory to God, exalts and embodies Him."
21 The sons of Izhar [sparkler] were Korah, Nepheg and Zikri.
Korah= “Bald” or “Cold as ice.” Probably refers to self-controlled, not vain, not levitous.
Nepheg= attentive
Zikri= Zachary= leaves a good impression
"They leave a good impression but are not vain."
22 The sons of Uzziel “principaled” were Mishael, Elzaphan and Sithri.
Mishael= “Who is asked”, “is called”.
Elzaphan= Who God Protects,
Sithri = “one who protects in God’s stead” “is protective”.
"They are principled and act in God's stead when called upon. This creates abundance, a place for other nobles to gather strategize, worship, serve, and govern. Citizens want to be loyal to these kinds of men, be their prisoners."
Thousands of years ago, The People of the Kingdom of Israel were silent when they should have spoken. Their silence made a monster of their kings who made fools out of them, and so have we. What are we going to do now?

ballvvasher replied to your post “What is with people misinterpreting “You know I can take whatever I...”
the first time i saw tfa, i was immediately sickened because i knew how that line was coded. its also public knowledge that JJ and the creators described that scene as a rape scene. its in the subtext. i know its not easy knowing that thats what they did to those characters in canon, but its what happened, and reylo and kylo fans have to face that.
I’ve been googling about this and as far as I’ve been able to find only JJ Abrams has mentioned rape when referring to that scene and that was in response to a fan who had said to him that the scene played that way. This post lays out what happened pretty clearly so if you’re referring to something else please let me know. I’ve gone over the script and it’s not there. Not even in an Alien the-whole-film-is-one-big-rape-metaphor kind of way. It was undoubtedly torture (and I disagree with fans who say otherwise). But “mind rape”? Our nearest equivalent to the mind probe would be a truth serum which I object to on moral grounds but do not agree is rape. Rape is a very specific thing and nothing like it happened in TFA.
I’ve gone over Abrams’ commentary for TFA and he doesn’t mention rape that I can find. He refers to Kylo as looking like a prince, mentions the fairytale aspects of Kylo’s interactions with Rey, etc., none of which supports the idea that his directorial intent was rape. Adam Driver hasn’t mentioned this either nor has Daisy Ridley. I think taking a fan’s concern seriously and talking about it with him in a sensitive way is one thing and I support that. But saying “this is what the movie was doing”, declaring that the intent of those involved, is something else.
#ballvvasher#forcing someone to have sex is rape#coercing someone#to have sex is rape and yes that includes prostitution#mind probes may#not be moral but they're not rape#i don't ship rapists with anything but#the business end of a gun
